Flu Vaccine at Home Service in Dubai

Skip the clinic and the waiting room. Our nurses bring the seasonal flu vaccine to your home, hotel or office anywhere in Dubai. Every visit includes a quick health check before the injection and a short observation period after, so you leave fully protected and fully documented.

What Is a Flu Vaccine at Home Service?

A flu vaccine at-home service replaces your clinic appointment with a nurse visit. The nurse arrives with the current season influenza vaccine in a validated cool box, completes a short pre-vaccination screening, confirms there is no reason to delay, administers the injection into your upper arm, and then monitors you for fifteen minutes before safely removing the used sharps from your home.

Influenza is not the same as a heavy cold. Every year it sends people in the UAE to hospital, and the highest risk sits with adults over 65, pregnant women, young children, and anyone living with asthma, diabetes or heart disease. An annual vaccine is the most effective protection available, and having it at home means no waiting room full of unwell people.

What is included in every home flu vaccination visit:

Who Should Get a Flu Vaccine in Dubai?

Everyone from six months of age benefits from a yearly flu vaccine. For the groups below it matters most, and home vaccination removes the biggest barrier of all, which is getting to a clinic in the first place.

Adults Over 65

Older adults face a much higher risk of pneumonia and hospital admission after flu. They are also often the least mobile members of the family, so a nurse visit at home is far easier than a clinic trip.

Pregnant Women

The inactivated flu vaccine is recommended at any stage of pregnancy. It protects the mother and passes antibodies to the baby, which covers the newborn during the first months of life before the baby can be vaccinated.

Children From Six Months to Five Years

Young children spread flu easily and get sicker from it. Our nurses carry paediatric doses, and a familiar room at home causes far less distress than a clinic.

People With Chronic Conditions

Asthma, COPD, diabetes, cardiac disease, kidney disease and liver disease are all destabilised by influenza. A yearly vaccine reduces flare ups and hospital visits.

Immunocompromised Patients

Patients on cancer treatment, transplant medication or immunosuppressant therapy should avoid crowded waiting rooms entirely. Home vaccination removes that exposure.

Household Members and Carers

Vaccinating the people around a vulnerable patient, including family, nannies and drivers, is one of the most effective ways to protect that patient.

The nurse checks your temperature, allergy history, current medication and any previous vaccine reaction, and records all of it before proceeding.

You see the vial, its batch number and expiry date, and the cool box temperature log before anything is drawn up. Nothing is administered from an unverified vial.

The injection goes into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm, or the thigh for infants, using aseptic technique and a single use needle.

The nurse monitors you for fifteen minutes with an anaphylaxis kit on hand, removes all sharps from your home, and issues a signed vaccination certificate.

When Should You Get the Flu Vaccine in the UAE?

The best time to get a flu vaccine in the UAE is before or at the start of flu season, giving your body time to build protection before infection rates increase.

The ideal window. Protection is fully in place before the UAE flu season peaks.

Peak season. Still worth vaccinating, since protection builds in about two weeks.

Vaccinate two weeks before flying, before Hajj or Umrah, or before a northern hemisphere winter trip.

Circulating strains change annually and immunity fades, so last season shot does not carry over.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Get quick answers about our home nursing services in Dubai. Here are details about our availability, care services and booking process.
Why do you only place nurses as nannies?
Because we are a nursing company rather than a maid agency, and because the moments that matter most in childcare are clinical ones. A nurse nanny handles the full routine of feeding, sleep, play and school runs, and she is also licensed to give prescribed medication, manage tube feeding or oxygen, monitor vital signs and respond to a medical emergency. An ordinary nanny, however experienced, cannot legally do any of that.
Every one is a Dubai Health Authority certified nurse, and her liscence is verified against the DHA register before placement. On top of that we complete police clearance, two directly called employer references, medical fitness screening, paediatric first aid and safeguarding training, and a practical childcare assessment.
Yes, and that is the point of the service. Tell us the diagnosis and we match a nurse with the relevant clinical background, whether that is asthma, epilepsy, type 1 diabetes, tracheostomy care, feeding tubes, prematurity or a developmental condition. She is supervised by our clinical team and can escalate to a physician visit the same day.
Matched nurse profiles reach you within 24 hours. Hourly and full day cover can often start the same week. A live in placement takes longer because of the contract and visa steps.
Yes. You interview your shortlist and run a paid trial day in your own home before committing. If the chemistry is not right, we send new nurse profiles at no extra fee.
We arrange temporary cover from the same pool of DHA nurses, usually within 24 hours, and permanent replacement is included in your placement.
Child related tasks yes, including bottle sterilising, children laundry, tidying play areas and preparing their meals. General cleaning for the whole household is a housemaid role and is not part of a nurse nanny placement.
For live in and full time placements we guide you through contract terms, working hours compliance and the sponsorship route, so the arrangement is legal and properly documented.
